چکیده

Our study aimed to determine immunohistochemical expression of ER, PR, C-erbB-2, p53 and BRCA1 genes their relationship with clinicopathological features prognostic significance. The present included 85 patients that were diagnosed epithelial OC, treated followed-up between 2002 2012 at Mersin University, Faculty Medicine. Immunohistochemical relation-ship parameters evaluated. In serous carcinomas, ER was significantly associated metastasis the fallopian tube, PR patient’s age, progression-free survival (PFS), cytoplasmic overall (OS) PFS. pathogenesis groups, 55 tumors type 1, 30 2. There significant correlations expressions two groups. our study, factors in carcinoma. Extensive studies contain more cases each histological group are needed value these five markers.

Prognostic Values of Estrogen and Progesterone Expression Receptors in Ovarian Papillary Serous Carcinoma

Background and Objectives: Presence of steroid hormone receptors (estrogen and progesterone) in the tumor tissues of various organs correlates with response to therapy and prognosis. Since their role in ovarian cancer is still controversial, in this study we investigated the expression and prognostic value of the estrogen receptor (ER) and progesterone receptors (PR) in ovarian papillary ser...

Prognostic value of p53 in renal cell carcinoma

Background and Objectives: RCC is one of the most common genitourinary cancers. Accurate prediction of prognosis would be valuable for adjuvant trial design, counseling and effectively scheduling follow up visits. P53 is a tumor suppressor gene that expresses a protein that involved in both cell-cycle ar...

[The relationship between p53 protein and c-erb B-2 expression and apoptosis in colorectal cancer].

In order to elucidate the relationship between tumor growth and various kinds of gene expression and the occurrence of apoptosis in the front portion of neoplastic invasion, 57 advanced colorectal cancers were studied by immunohistochemical staining of p53, c-erb B-2, the TUNEL method and electron microscopy. Light microscopically, the columnar epithelial cells of adenocarcinoma frequently show...
